Susan has been creating beautiful custom designs for clients throughout the Hamptons, New York City and Westchester County since 2000.  Her passion for this trade began with her MFA in Textile Design from UMass, continued as Design Director for Wamsutta and Springmaid Brands and finally prompted her to open Wilson Mita Design along side her partner Mila Wilson.

Susan values each design experience and personally customizes the details of every project to the specific needs and dreams of her clients.   “We strive to ensure a level of comfort that reflects the needs of the client yet also to bring another layer of sophistication with a touch of the unexpected to all our projects”

Mila studied spatial design with Rowena Reed at Pratt Institute, earning a Masters Degree in Industrial Design. It was there she learned how to work with the beautiful puzzle that is three dimensional design.“To thoughtfully solve our clients individual design problems, while bringing the unexpected is our goal at W/M.”
